How To Wear Pink -

How refreshing it is these days, to breathe. Free in the knowledge that a person’s gender and the colour of their clothes are not symbiotic. We have come a long way...

Not so long ago, you could have taken a stick to a piñata made from a pantone colour chart and hit a shade that men should not wear – salmon, fuchsia, blush – no matter the tone, these were for ‘women only’.

Steeped in tradition, Golf is the sport we all love for its form, its grace, its etiquette. But, as with all things, the sport must evolve if it is to sustain its standing among old and new generations alike. Over the years, innovation in technology and fashion have encouraged a move towards more performance focused equipment, more varied apparel colour and, of course, more exciting golf shoes – this is where we come in. We’ve created our Pink Croco. Featuring the Croco Collections signature faux crocodile print but with a nude pink upper and sole, this style is sure to light up the golf course.

Besides Sunday at The Players, the colour pink is seldom seen on the golf course, so we thought we would rectify this travesty by developing an all-pink limited edition of our signature Croco silhouette. Handmade in Italy, our bespoke Vibram outsole supports supple calf leather uppers embellished in tonal faux-croc detailing. We are so immensely proud of this shoe that we’ve teamed up with Gent’s Lounge owner and all-round style afficionado George Laboda to showcase the reasons why you could be too.

PINK ON THE GOLF COURSE

“When styling something bold in your outfits – pink shoes in this case – it's always best to keep the rest of your outfit more neutral and let the one statement piece make the big statement." Setting off our pink Croco against a reserved ensemble such as a lightweight trouser and polo from the same colour family certainly ticks this box. Pair with our Beaumont belt to elevate the look, with the woven leather enlisting a degree of texture that compliments that of the faux-croc detailing of the shoe – George opted for our midnight brown colourway to add a rich depth of colour perfectly in harmony with the tone-on-tone pink of the shoe.

PINK OFF THE COURSE

A shoe that performs on and off the golf course – this is one of our guiding principles when we design our shoes and George demonstrates with aplomb how this can be achieved. Our Croco Pink is versatile enough to be dressed up or down, exemplified by the subtle polka dot shirting Mr. Laboda has paired with pastel tone trousers, enabling that pop of pink to make its statement. Round off your ensemble with one of our equally versatile woven belts to transition from the course into the evening and beyond.
