Because it wasn't waterproof, the insole got wet and dirty after wearing it once, and the outer surface became wrinkled and lost its shape.

Love this shoe and bought a back up pair, all leather, super comfortable to walk the course and athletic in the way it moves. Was able to wear my orthotics as well. Well priced for quality. True to the size they says fits.
